The ancestors who formed the adage 'raining cats and dogs' should go back to the drawing board and make some revisions. You will agree with me, and I stand to be corrected, all cats and dogs in the world will never match any heavy rains that fall. Maybe they may match because the rain water is swept into the ocean, evaporates or used by living things. Dogs and cats have no use except to guard our homes and act as pets.

Am still in bed though it is 9:30 in the morning! There are people who sleep late yet am not one of them. I need to go to work. The boss will understand though. There is heavy rain falling from 4:00 a.m. 

Water, water, everywhere water! We have been in heavy rains for too long now. We rarely see the sun. The rains have persisted just like the Corona pandemic.
