বাংলার গ্রাম শান্তি দিয়ে ঘেরা, মমতাময়ী প্রকৃতি দিয়ে মোড়া। আজও গ্রামের মানুষ একত্রে মাঠে কাজ করে । পুরুষ ও মহিলা একত্রে মাঠে সারাদিন রোদ বৃষ্টি ভিজে মাঠে কাজ করে । বাংলার কৃষকদের জীবনযাত্রা খুবই সাদাসিধে সরলতায় মোড়ানো হৃদয় তাদের ।গ্রামের মায়াবী মন ভরানো গরুর দল ও পুরানো ঐতিহ্য কৃষির যন্ত্র দিয়ে আজও গ্রাম তার রূপকে ধরে রেখেছে। গ্রামের মানুষ সারাদিন মাঠে কাজ করে তারা একটা আত্মিক সুখ পাই।সোনালী মাঠের শোভা দেখে তাদের হৃদয়ের তৃপ্তি জাগে। দরিদ্রের সাথেও লড়াই করেও তারা প্রকৃতির সৌন্দর্য রূপ রসকে ধরে রেখেছে আমাদের মাঝে। তারা সবাই মিলে হাড় ভাঙা পরিশ্রম করে সোনালী ধানের মুখ দেখে অনাবিল তৃপ্তি পাই। তাঁরা ভাবে হয়তো তাঁরা সুখের দিন দেখবে । ওই ধান নিজেরা মাড়াই করে ঘরে তোলে। নিজের জন্য কিছুটা রেখে বাকি ধান বাজারে বিক্রি করে সংসার চালায়। আমি সেলুট জানাই ওই সমস্ত কৃষকদের তাঁরা রোদে পুড়ে অবিরাম খেটে চলেছে। যাদের মধ্যে দেশের অর্থনীতির ভীত অনেক দাঁড়িয়ে আছে। অথচ এরা সমাজে সামাজিক সম্মান থেকে বঞ্চিত। গ্রামের সবুজ ফসলের অনাবিল দৃশ্য আমার মনকে মোহিত করে। গ্রামের ফসলের মাঠ গ্রাম্য প্রকৃতির অপরূপ নিদর্শন। বৈচিত্র্যময় ফসলের ক্ষেত গ্রামের মমতাময়ী শান্ত ,চমৎকার দৃশ্য দেখতে আমার কাছে স্বর্গীয় পারিজাত ফুলের বাগানের মতো লাগে। তাইতো আমি সব সময় গ্রামের শান্ত নিবিড় ফসলের মাঠের ছবি শেয়ার করি। The profound scenes of the green crop of the village fascinate my mind.
