You are doing something, and your partner does not support you, then it is difficult to continue. So what can do in this situation?

You cannot make your partner do something unless he/she feels like doing that. You can share your feelings and experiences with your partner. Tell him/her how you feel when you do that. You can share your dream with him/her. If your partner is interested, your partner can join you. Or, your partner will support you in every possible way. 

You want to grow and have a happy life with your partner. Just let your partner know what you are up to and how it is going to change your life. Your partner will support you because he/she loves you.
