There are still plenty of stalls that I’ve never been tried at the Golden Mile Food center. I went there a while ago to eat my dinner. It’s always a safe bet to choose any of the hawker stall from that place. It feels like, every stall is putting good effort in every dish that they make. Each stall has this competitive spirit in them so they take pride in cooking the food to the best they can.
I chose Kian Hock Restaurant because I was craving seafood. The Seafood Beehoon seems enticing enough so I ordered it.
It was stir-fried and a broth was added to give it a light sauce.
Seafood is a perfect topping for beehoon because of the nice flavor that comes from it. On top of that, there are thin slices of pork and liver too. The pork is a good addition but the liver is not. It tasted weird together with the seafood.
The pork slices is a little chewy but it’s a good pair to the seafood. While the liver seems off, I think that it goes well with the beehoon because it gives it a rich taste.
I like the fish slices and the prawns. The Lala shellfood also taste fresh. I enjoyed eating this dish, it’s yummy and healthy too.
I think Kian Hock Restaurant is a good place to try if you want to have a mice Chinese food.
