My Simple and Favourite Food Recipe

When we talk about food, I'm one of those who love it to the end. My love for food is incomparable. One of my friends asked me what quantity of food I could finish because of the way I was talking about loving food. I vividly remember him asking that particular day if I could finish up to 5 cups of garri (cassava flakes).

At that instance my eyes popped out of socket, I exclaimed in shock. "Can one person finish that?" And he responded "yes" in a very convincing way. Truly, I was shocked, but I'm not that kind of foodie because anyone eating that way must be in a job that drains energy and requires the same amount of energy replenished in food form.

It was from that discussion that I heard from another lady how her brother can finish five cups of rice within three hours. At first I thought she was trying to exaggerate things but after seeing the guy eat, I believed what his sister said. I love food no doubt but I do my eating in moderation. One food that holds a special place in my heart is spaghetti. Anyone that knows me and sees smiles beaming my face and there is an aroma coming from somewhere can tell I'm preparing my special food. Before I forget, the cooker is always set on high because any delay is unwanted.

My spaghetti recipe is simple but not money friendly. I don't make spaghetti all the time because I love cooking it in a way that satisfies my body and soul, by making it delicious. When cooking spaghetti, I ensure I have enough money for geisha, fresh tomato, and beef. With these ingredients available, I ignite the fire and place a pot of water on top. To prevent the spaghetti from sticking to the bottom of the pot, I use a kitchen hack of adding salt to the hot water.

Once the spaghetti boils to my taste, since I don't like it too soft and not too firm either. I get it off the pot, sieve out the waste and wash it and set aside. Now is the main part of the recipe. With my vegetable oil in the pot, I add a plate of chopped onion in it and allow to heat a bit, then my fresh tomato, I turn this until I get that rich sauce look, then I add my blended garlic and ginger with curry powder season.

My first secret ingredient to my spaghetti recipe is using either curry leaves or curry powder. I love the aroma and taste this ingredient gives to the spaghetti. With other condiments added, I add a very little water from the stemmed meat. Since I already have perfectly boiled spaghetti from the start, I ensure that the amount of water from the meat is minimal. This ensures that I achieve a very tasty and delicious result at the end.

While I love taking this adventure to see if my culinary skills are still excellent, when I feel like giving myself a special treat and my pocket supports the idea, I head out to my favorite eatery and order my first choice. Regardless of what anyone may say, I still believe that our individual food preferences and recipes differ.
