Use the Tongue positively

Hello my fellow believers of our Lord Jesus Christ, today I want to share with you the power of the tongue and effects of the tongue if you do not use it wisely.

 

[Jeremiah 1:5] ISV : “I knew you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart for me before you were born; I appointed you to be a prophet to the nations.”

 

God has made it clear to us that He made us for a good and a great purpose.

Jeremiah 1:5.

[Proverb 2:6] ISV : For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

 

[Mat 15:18] KJV : But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

 

[Luke 6:45] KJV : A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

 

[Ephesians 4:29] KJV : Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

 

The scriptures above gives us a great insight of the power of the tongue and our mouth. The words that comes out of our mouth can determine the purpose of God in our lives.

 

Sometimes the words that comes out of your mouth rules our lives. The words from parents, teachers, elderly people, pastor and even grand parents can bring a big change in our lives.

This scriptures says it all;

 

[Proverbs 18:21] KJV : Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

 

This scripture nails it all. It tells us all good things and all bad things comes into our lives by our tongue. Always confessing good things unto your lives brings the blessings of God always on your life. Confessing sickness, pain, disappointments, emptiness always on our life will lead you to the path you are calling out for. The devil always rejoices when we Christians make such negative confessions. This show how unfaithful we are to God.

 

What should we do as believers?

 

There is power in positive confession. The truth is that until you speak you will not get. You must not one day speak of any negativity unto your life. You have to always speak good things unto your life. I have taken it unto myself that each day of my life I will say "I am blessed", because until you say, you will not receive. There is power in using your mouth, use it for good things by confessing great and wonderful things unto your life.
