Din : The Day Movie - Review

opsin

Day-The Day is an Iran-Bangladesh co-production action thriller film released in 2022. It is directed by Iranian director Mortaza Atash Zamzam.

First of all, I would like to thank the director and script writer of this movie for showing the culture of Iran, Afghanistan, Herat, Morocco, Turkey etc. in this movie. The artisans also claim thanks for both the lighting and decor.

But the sound quality of the movie is very bad. The dialogues are questionable as the volume of the background music is higher than the main dialogues. It's the same way the music gets lost in the crowd!

Those who like action movies may like the film. But on the whole, the story is not made to hold the audience in the film. The readers are soaked in the happiness of the heroes and heroines of timeless literature, and their sorrows also touch the hearts of the readers. This should also be the case with good movies. From this point of view, many shortcomings of 'Din: The Day' movie will be observed.

About 10 to 12 people were present on the fifth floor of Sylhet Nandita cinema hall where the number of seats is more than 450. Many viewers didn't watch the film the entire time.

Humayun Azad once said about Shamsur Rahman, "Shamsur Rahman has very little knowledge about who to go to the party with and who to go to the party with". Ananta Jalil lacks the robustness to speak of.

The Day: The Day movie starred Bangladesh's most talked about critically acclaimed film actor Ananta Jalil. The film is jointly produced by Iran's Farabi Cinema Foundation and Ananta Jalil.

It is said that more than 100 crore rupees have been spent on the production of the film. A big effort can cost as much as 8 to 9 crore rupees.

The Bengali conversation of the actors and actresses in the central role with the locals including the police of Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey has undermined the real art to some extent. It seems to be crazy.

However, the movie has tried to represent the country in various ways. In particular, efforts have been made to highlight the activities of the Bangladeshi police's special unit SWAD.

Actress Varsha is much ahead of Ananta's performance. However, his facial expressions are questionable in some sequences. Especially in tragic moments.

When Asif Akbar sings, he seems to be singing from within. Singing with full being. But in this film, Varsha's body language in different sequences seems artificial. There seems to be a considerable shortage in the bidding space.

Besides, the plot of the story is also questionable. Just as if it did not accumulate. The emotional space could have been given a little more polish.
But Ananta Jalil's movie 'Din: The Day' is undoubtedly a milestone for overall Bangladesh. Big budget, patriotism, inclusion of foreign culture, lighting, make-up etc. the film demands new discussion for many reasons.
