Today is Saturday 2nd December 2023, today was our Madrasah holiday, today Madrasah was closed but I went to Sirajganj city. This morning I woke up and prepared to go to Sirajganj after Fajr prayer, yesterday the Deputy Director of Sirajganj District Islamic Foundation asked all our teachers to be present at Sirajganj Police Line by nine o'clock in the morning. For this reason, I left home in the morning to go to Sirajganj.

A day-long seminar organized by Sirajganj District Police was held today at Sirajganj Police Line, the seminar was about the role of Alem Samaj in countering extremism. The slogan of today's event was "Say No to Terrorism", today's event was organized only with Imams, Muezzins, and teachers of different madrasahs from different mosques of Sirajganj district. Invited guests from different upazilas of Sirajganj district attended today's event.

Through today's event, people have been informed that Islam is a religion of peace, terrorism, militancy and extremism have no place in Islam. Islam never condones hurting another human being unjustly. Islam always wants peace of people, those who conduct various terrorist activities in the name of Islam do not understand Islam.

Mr. Mohammad Samiul Alam, Additional Superintendent of Police of Sirajganj District Crime and Ups Branch presided over today's event. Superintendent of Police Mohammad Arifur Rahman Mondal of Sirajganj district was present as the chief guest of today's event. Four persons, Mohammad Jasim Uddin, Mohammad Samchul Azam, Sheikh Imran Hossain and Deputy Director of Sirajganj Islamic Foundation Mohammad Farooq Ahmed were present as special guests.

Although the program was supposed to start at nine in the morning, it started at ten in the morning, at the beginning of the program recitation from Quran Majid, then the main program of the seminar started today with welcome speech, then important speeches were given by various dignitaries of Sirajganj, then special guests gave speeches. At the end, the chief guest introduced the friends.

Lunch is provided for all present at today's event, and Honorary Mata is given to all present at the event. They are given lunch and an envelope of honorarium in the morning after the ceremony. After the ceremony we returned home.
