The real candidates to enter the Champions League in LaLiga are beginning to be outlined and although Girona has been the revelation of the tournament and, for some dates, has even led LaLiga, it is clear that in the long run the powerful Spanish teams that have long and quality squads make their strength felt.

This is the case of Barcelona and Atlético Madrid, which have been gradually approaching Girona and are beginning to seriously worry it to the point of being displaced to fourth place, although it would still qualify for the Champions League.

VALENCIA 2 - 2 REAL MADRID: DESERVED DRAW AT MESTALLA.

Comienzan a delinearse los verdaderos candidatos a entrar en la Champions League en LaLiga y por más que el Girona haya sido la revelación del torneo y, por algunas fechas, incluso haya comandado LaLiga, es evidente que a largo andar los equipos poderosos españoles que cuentan con planteles largos y de calidad hacen sentir su fuerza.

Es el caso del Barcelona y Atlético Madrid que de a poco se han ido acercando a Girona y comienzan a a preocuparlo seriamente al punto de ser desplazado al cuarto puesto, aunque aún así clasificaría a la Champions.

El dilema sería si, desde el punto de vista del reglamento, la UEFA acepta la participación en el máxuni certamen continental, de dos equipos perteneccientes al mismo grupo económico. Lo que, a priori, está prohibido por el reglamento.

VALENCIA 2 – 2 REAL MADRID: EMPATE MERITORIO EN MESTALLA.

Partido muy esperado para ambas aficiones. En plenas fallas, el Real Madrid regresaba a Valencia en un encuentro que se preveía muy explosivo y tenso. El Valencia no comenzó bien pero los dos goles espolearon hicieron al equipo local jugar bien. El Real Madrid se acercó con un gol de Vinicius al filo del descanso y los blancos ya se vinieron arriba y pusieron el 2-2 definitivo.

El Valencia tuvo la primera posesión del partido. Los locales salieron con mucha intensidad y cometieron dos faltas en el primer minuto de juego. De todas formas, el conjunto visitante fue el que dominó el esférico en los primeros compases de partido, la única forma de pararlos para lo de Baraja era la falta.

En el minuto 10, Gayá sufrió lo que parecía una lesión cervical, tras ello, el capitán ché pudo continuar el encuentro sin complicación. El partido no nos estaba dejando ocasiones ni llegadas realmente peligrosas que ver en el primer cuarto de hora. Vinicius filtró un pase a Bellingham que podría haber terminado en una buena ocasión, pero la zaga valencianista no permitió al inglés terminar la acción como quería. Como curiosidad, la grada de Mestalla pitaba a Vinicius cada vez que tocaba el balón, el ambiente entre el público estaba tenso.

En el minuto 19, como es habitual, gran parte de la afición levantó unas cartulinas amarillas en protesta por la gestión de Peter Lim. Entre protestas y pitos, el Real Madrid seguía bien y en el minuto 23 ya surgieron las primeras chispas después de que Vinicius se fuese al suelo cerca del área por un empujón de Foulquier. Cinco minutos después, la grada estalló con el primer tanto de los suyos, Fran Pérez le dejó a Hugo Duro un remate de cabeza al cual Lunin no pudo responder.

El equipo ché estaba on fire tras el tanto, continuaron volcados en el ataque y recogieron los frutos muy pronto. Dani Carvajal cometió un terrible error en la salida de balón y Yaremchuk aprovechó para irse de su compatriota Lunin y doblar la ventaja. Tras el gol, la grada estaba por las nubes. El Real Madrid intentó reaccionar al 2-0, no le estaban dando mucho trabajo a Mamardashvili, una falta de Rodrygo se fue por arriba y fue de lo más peligroso para los blancos hasta el descuento.

Gil Manzano decidió añadir cinco minutos a la primera mitad. En ellos apenas pasó nada especialmente peligroso hasta que Vinicius acortó distancias con un gol en el minuto 45+5 tras una concatenación de pequeños errores defensivos. El brasileño levantó el puño mirando a la grada de animación y tras un minuto extra, se fueron al tunel de vestuarios.

Como si Zeus y el dios del fútbol se hubieran puesto de acuerdo, justo antes del inicio de la segunda parte comenzó a llover muy fuerte, aunque ya habían comenzado las precipitaciones en el descanso. Tras el saque, la segunda mitad comenzó con el Real Madrid entregado al ataque. El Valencia tuvo una falta peligrosa en el 50 aunque Pepelu la envió muy lejos de los palos de Lunin.

La intensidad de la lluvia no tardó mucho en bajar. El Real Madrid estaba siendo claro dominador de los primeros minutos tras la vuelta de vestuarios, Mamardashvili tuvo que sacar un gol clarísimo a Bellingham con un pie. El equipo de Ancelotti estaba encontrando su mejor fútbol en el inicio de esta segunda parte. Baraja movió el banquillo rápido para detener a un Madrid in crescendo. Cuando estábamos a punto de llegar a la hora, Lunin tuvo que sacar entre pies y manos un remate a bocajarro del recién salido Diego López que era una ocasión muy clara de gol.

Con el buen momento de su equipo, Carletto aprovechó para hacer sus primeros cambios y meter a Modric y Brahim en el campo. Hugo Duro se quedó tendido en el terreno de juego tras un golpe con Carvajal y Gil Manzano no pitó falta. El conjunto ché no conseguía prácticamente nada en ataque aunque la zaga estaba aguantando bien.

En el 75, Vinicius anotó a placer de cabeza estando habilitado por milímetros. El brasileño hizo gestos, celebró, sus compañeros le mandaron parar y finalmente el VAR de Munuera Montero revisó el gol y le dio un merecido empate al Madrid.

El Real Madrid iba a por la victoria y se vino arriba tras el gol del empate. En el minuto 84, Diakhabby se fue al suelo y Tchouameni se cayó justo encima suya. Las asistencias tuvieron que sacarlo por lesión y todo apunta a que es una lesión grave, así que esperemos que se recupere pronto.

Gil Manzano añadió siete minutos más que lógicos y justo en el 90, Gil Manzano pitó un penalti que el VAR tuvo que corregir porque, aunque en el directo parecía penalti, la repetición mostró un claro resbalón de Hugo Duro. El colegiado tuvo que acudir a ver la acción y no tuvo ninguna duda autocorrigiéndose a los pocos segundos. Ambos terminaron empujando fuerte por el gol de la victoria aunque ninguno lo tuvo realmente cerca y el partido terminó en un justo empate a dos.

GIRONA SE DESINFLA: CAYÓ ANTE MALLORCA Y SE ALEJA DE REAL MADRID.

GIRONA continúa de capa caída y dejó puntos en su visita a Mallorca: perdió 1-0 con el gol de Copete. Con este resultado, quedó a siete puntos del líder Real Madrid y puede ser superado por Barcelona.

En el primer tiempo, el local, envalentonado por su pase a la final de la Copa del Rey, hizo pesar la localía y abrió el marcador a los 24 minutos en la segunda jugada de un tiro de esquina.

En el segundo tiempo, el equipo de Michel intentó empatar por todos los medios y pateó 10 veces, de las cuales solo dos fueron al arco. Predrag Rajkovic, arquero local, realizó cuatro atajadas y fue la figura del partido.

El único argentino que fue de la partida fue Paulo Gazzaniga, arquero de Girona, que no fue convocado por Lionel Scaloni. También tuvieron minutos el uruguayo Giovanni González y los brasileños Savio y Yan Couto.

Con este escenario, Real Madrid, que este sábado empató, amplió su ventaja a siete puntos sobre el segundo, la cual puede ser reducida a seis por Barcelona, cuando quedan 11 fechas para el cierre.
