Life is so complex that if you only take things at their face value, embarrassment will become your middle name. Success is not always a chancy business but predicated on multi-dimensional variables: like determination, diligence, focus, intransigencies.
The children of Israel went to war against one of the tribes-Benjamin. They consulted God and obtained His consent but they lost the war. How can God ask us to do something and it ends up in failure? Has God embarrassed us or have we disappointed God? That was what was looming in their minds. The children of Israel discovered that there were things they did not do. They called for prayer and fasting for the entire day and still inquired from God, and lost the second time, in spite of God's approval. Our topic states that it is not over until it is over. The truth
is, as long as you still have the breath of life in you, God has not yet finished with you. For with God all things are possible.
The leaders must have asked themselves some hard questions because from experience, they know God does not fail. Check out additional things they did they still called for another prayer and fasting. It was heart breaking prayer withlamentations. They offered two types of sacrifices. They articulated fighting strategies, divided themselves into bands for ambush. They made more enquiries from God and enlisted more service men.God promised them victory on the third battle. And, they won at the third attempt beautifully.
Nothing is absolutely foreclosed until Jesus says so. It is never over. Do not give up! Go extra mile: add serious fasting to your prayers, make unusual sacrifices, and raise a lamentation unto God and much more. He will surely come into your battles to take charge and give you victory
Do not have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness.
