> ### For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 THESSALONIANS 4:16-18

### Let’s carry out a quick check-list for the impending flight
1 There shall be no pre-flight or boarding announcements for everyone to be ready and check in. No, it shall be on-the-spot blast. Matthew 24:36; 1 Corinthians 15:52; Acts 1:7.
2 Interestingly, Jesus is the one coming again. He is the one telling the disciples the form it will take. He recommends on the best strategy to make it; namely, being watchful and being ready. Matthew 24:4243,25:13, Luke 12:40, Mark 13:33.
3 Peter, one of those Jesus talked with on the matter, gives a very practical suggestion on how to make it to the flight that day. 2 Peter 3:14, Paul supports Peter’s admonition in 1 Thessalonians 3:13
4 Something saddening is revealed by Jesus that will also characterize that• day “... and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn!” Matthew 24:30, Revelation 1:7

It was Jesus in Matthew 24:44 when answering the question put across to Him by His disciples about the signs(s) of His coming, that Jesus admonished them to “be ye also ready; for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh” The intriguing thing about what He said is that, many will not be thinking about His coming when He will come. What if the trumpets should blast from the skies now, would you be ready?
One word from God can change your life forever!
