Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi Barkatuhu.
Dear friends, today is our Eid-ul-Azha, the Eid of Sacrifice. Welcome and congratulations to all of you on this Eid day.
Sacrifice
Allah Ta'ala has introduced the stream of sacrifice for us. So that we can achieve his satisfaction. Because Allah Almighty has said, if you want to love me, then sacrifice your favorite object. Sacrifice only for me, not for anyone else. If you do, it will not be acceptable to me. So our sacrifice is for Allah alone. This sacrifice first began in the time of our first father, Adam (peace be upon him). Adam had two sons, Abel and Cain. One of them was a good servant and the other was a bad servant. The sacrifice of a wicked servant is not acceptable to Allah. In the same way, the sacrifice of Cain, the son of Adam, was not acceptable to God, but the sacrifice of Abel was accepted in the court of God. At that time, after sacrificing the sacrificial animal, the one whose sacrifice was consumed by fire from the sky was considered to have been accepted in the court of Allah, and the one whose sacrifice was not considered to be consumed by fire was not accepted by Allah. Then, through the father of our Muslim nation, Ibrahim Alai Salam, and his son Ismail Alai Salam, the old sacrificial system has reappeared in the world in a new form. The Almighty commanded Ibrahim (peace be upon him) to sacrifice his favorite object. One by one he made some sacrifices but the sacrifice was not accepted. Then he turned to God. Then the Almighty said, "Sacrifice your most beloved object." Then he thought to himself that he would be acceptable to me, and then he began to think that he thought that my favorite son Ismail Alai Salam is my favorite pot. Then he decided to sacrifice Ishmael. But his intention was that Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, was very pleased with his test and with Gabriel, he removed Ishmael from the knife and sacrificed a lamb, and he opened his eyes and saw that Ishmael was standing beside him. Gone. Since then, it has been going on among us to this day through sacrifice.
Let us sacrifice for the sake of purity, so that my sacrifice may be accepted in the court of Allah. May Allah Almighty be pleased and satisfied with me till today Allah Hafez.
