At the APC presidential campaign rally held at the Pa Ngele Oruta township stadium in Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State, Tinubu informed the crowd and stakeholders of this. If elected president of the country in the general election of 2023, he promised to advance the nation, as well as bring more development to the South-East region and engage in conversation with agitators.

However, Tinubu urged residents of the southeast area, particularly those in Ebonyi State, to cast a large number of votes for the gubernatorial candidate and all other candidates.
