Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, has requested an apology from Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima of the All Progressives Congress, the party in power, for their remarks regarding business and the economy.

Paul Ibe on Wednesday accused Tinubu and Shettima of making a mockery of entrepreneurship at a meeting with members of the private sector in Lagos State, according to a statement signed by his media adviser.

In addition, he said that the APC candidates were speaking "condescendingly" of rival presidential contenders. "The words from the APC candidates reflect tremendous carelessness and disrespect," claimed Atiku's assistant.

Ibe continued, "One would have assumed that the pair would take use of such an occasion to discuss the policies that their party, the APC, has imposed on the nation. Instead, they took the political indecency superhighway.

"Any firm that produces goods, creates jobs, and pays dividends is an asset and shouldn't be laughed at, especially in this period of the APC administration when the nation is losing jobs.
