After performing some household chores and saying my prayers this morning, I immediately went to the restroom and had a shower before eating my meal. It was already 8:39 a.m., which meant that my class was almost about to start. As a new student, I had to arrive early to the lecture hall because the class was scheduled to start at 9am.

Knowing this, I hurriedly got ready, left my room, and rode a tricycle (which had been kidnapped) directly to the Digital Dreams ICT Academy Abakaliki.

While riding the trike, I believed I was already running late, but when I arrived, I saw that pupils had not yet arrived for the lesson. Nevertheless, I encountered the customer service representative, and it was she who gave me the instructions. Nevertheless, I recognized the customer service agent, and it was her who showed me where the lecture hall was. Students didn't enter the lecture hall until around 20 minutes after my arrival. Computer Basic was taught to three students—one male and two females—over the course of a 2-hour class.

One of the students in front of me, however, started showing me some of his programming works on his laptop as the rest of us, including three other guys and I, were waiting for our lecturer to arrive.

He shows me nearly two games that he has programmed as well as a website that he is presently developing. In all honesty, I was pleased with what he showed me. I first learned about front-end development.

Front end developers are programmers/developers who design websites and applications to satisfy user requirements. I was informed that front-end developers only play a few roles and that their work mostly involves designing mobile-friendly websites and apps. It is primarily used to develop features that encourage the simple use of apps or websites. Since it was my first time taking the class, I was told that if I took it seriously, I would eventually be able to use CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and various front-end frameworks.
