The operatives of Ekiti State Police Command has Paraded a 32-Year-old man identified as Akindele Opeyemi for allegedly stealing an offering vault belong to Christ Apostolic Church, Camp Ground in Ikeji, Ara-Ikeji, Osun State. 

 

 

According to TVC News, the suspect was arrested during a stop and search operation. The suspect was said to be on motorcycle with a suspicious bag. 

 

After a thorough search, different Denomination of Nigerian Currency was found in his possession.

 

In his confession, the suspect said he was a security guard at the church for two years before he resigned from his post sometime this year. 

 

 

According to him, he went back to the Camp Ground in the guise of a "Personal all night Prayer" and made way to the Church offering Vault and carted away the Money.

 

"I Pretended To Come For Personal All Night Prayer Before Carting Away The Church's Offering Vault" the suspect said
