The political campaigns will officially start about a week from now. As expected, the candidates running for political offices will get to tell Nigerians what they will offer the people if they win the elections. Some of the candidates are yet to release their manifestos, and one of those who have not done so is the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

 

 

 

In a recent report by Daily Post, a chieftain of the Labour Party, Professor Pat Utomi, has opened up on the reason why Peter Obi has not released his manifesto yet.

 

 

Pat Utomi said that Peter Obi's manifesto is ready, and that the reason they have not released it yet is because they do not want the opposition candidates to copy it.

 

 

 

He said - "There is a manifesto ready, and it will be released before the campaign starts. We have it, but we decided to keep it secret until campaigns start."

 

 

 

The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has been described in the media as the third force, and he is in the race against top contenders like Bola Tinubu of APC and Atiku Abubakar of PDP, and many political experts believe that next year's presidential election is a three-horse race between these three candidates.

 

During the campaigns, these candidates will get the chance to tell Nigerians what they have to offer the people if they are elected into office, and also present their manifestos to the people.
