Life is like a computer system each part of the computer work in harmony to attend a goal. The different parts may have their individual functions and a such are independent contributor to the general functioning of the entire system when one part fails the whole part feels it and possibly hult operation.

Some of these computer parts are visible and are called hardwares and some of it's parts not at the physical where eyes and hands can touch or feel but we're certain that such are and they play vital functions in accepting data, processing data and giving us a feedback which is usually referred to as information.

God who made man in his love and image and said His work is beautiful and we can testify that yes, his work are good. In his love made the brain and all the sense organs which help us in discrimination of what is good and what is not. In his love also the scriptures are given as a law book to help us live in harmony while chasing our individual goals and same time attaining the collective goal of God in this life.
As functioning being, our parts could get faulty and needs maintenance, refurbishing, overhauling or a total replacementof the faulty part or parts.   
   

As corrective measures in our dealing with others, The Bible book of Hebrews 12:11 The NIV says
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Yes , no one correction sounds good at the time it's been melted but at a later time you would be thankful that yes you were on the journey of failure until you were corrected.

I recently met a student of mine I taught ten years ago and he was very glad to see me after a decade and wasn't ashamed to tell people how I disciplined him and that he is very grateful to God for giving him a teacher like me them when other teachers hated him because he won't listen his parents where also tired of him but he is a better person today. 

As at the time of working on him it wasn't easy on the both of us and he's grateful tens years later. It's very possible that some one had offended you while trying to correct or discipline you just understand that it won't sound good now but the tongue could render abusive words on the person who is trying to discipline you today but surly your conscience knows what is the truth.
