Andrew's first day in South city university was marked with great trouble. He was not used to the university system. When he first arrived, he went straight to the administrative block and was directed to go to his faculty for screening. On his way to the faculty building he met Sarah, a fellow fresher. Sarah was a pretty girl in her late teens around the same age with Andrew. Both of them bonded immediately and went straight to the faculty for they were admitted to the same faculty to study the same course. Unknown to Andrew, Sarah's brother was the leader of a cult group. Immediately he saw Andrew with his sister he became unhappy for he had great  plans for his younger sister. He beckoned on his sister to enquire about her new found friend. Unsatisfied with her answers, he decided to lie in wait for the young man at the close of day. Finally the screening was over and they went their separate ways. Unknown to Andrew, he was a prey and the predator awaits him on the other side of the road. After a long walk he found himself surrounded by fraternity boys. He was shocked and began to look for a safe passage but he could not find any. After much talk from the fraternity, they revealed to Andrew that if he must continue his friendship with Sarah, he must belong to their association and pledge his loyalty to them. Everything seems like a joke to him and laughed. That was the beginning his woes. A few minute later he was left stranded after they collected his valuables and gave serious warning not to tell anyone about them and also to go home and reflect on all they said. He was given 3 days to come back with a reply. He was still in shock when they left and had to find a place to sit down for some time. They collected his phone, wristwatch and cash. He latter trekked back to the hostel. After 3 days he came back to meet them saying that he can't join a fraternity. He was dismissed, thinking he has won, he went to the church to pray. On his way home he met Sarah who was displeased that he has been avoiding her. He was about to mention the things her brother said when he remembered the stern warning they gave to him. After giving her another excuse they both went to a restaurant to eat. Lo and behold he met a couple of the fraternity boys. They were there to eat and drink and they saw him with their leader's sister. To them it was their lucky day for they have found a new financier. Sarah's brother came and took Sarah away so that she wont witness what was about to happen to her friend. They fraternity made him to pay their bills. He spent a part of his fees settling bills. Finally he was unable to his fees and deadline was already fixed. He could not call his parents because he was phone less. He later summon courage to go home. He cooked up a story to tell his people at home. After much talk, his father gave him some money to complete his school fees. He was happy and  went straight to the bank to pay the fees. On his way to the bank he met Sarah's brother who asked him for some cash to pay his transport fare. Andrew was unwilling to give and he was dealt with by the fraternity for they were not far off. They collected all that was in his possession and made sure he was unable to pay his fees. He could not go back home to his father. Finally the deadline was over and he lost his studentship and was forced to leave the school. That was how  a promising young man paid the price for becoming a friend to the sister of a cultist.
