Today I have brought a sweet food these few days. I am bringing you today to tell you how to make a very delicious dish that can be served with a meal when there is a special in your house. This is a really special dish. 'Potato Bistake'. Although the name is special, let's see how to make this potato bistek which is very easy to make.
Ingredients;
- 100g of potatoes
- Half teaspoon of turmeric powder
- A teaspoon of salt powder
- 3/4 cup of water
- Two pods of green chillies
- Three cloves of cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon of mustard seeds
- A few curry leaves
- A few pieces of cinnamon
- Three cloves of garlic
- One and half tablespoon of oil
- A large size onion
The method of making;
First, remove the skins from the potatoes and wash them thoroughly. Then cut it into round slices of about half a centimeter.
Now put a suitable pan on the stove and add the diced potatoes to it. After that add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder and half a teaspoon of salt powder.
Now add 3/4 cups of water and boil the potatoes on medium flame for about ten minutes.
Wash the garlic well and cut it into long strips, raw chillies into small pieces, a part of the big onion into round slices and the rest into small pieces.
Crush the cardamom.
Now heat a pan and add one and a half tablespoons of oil. When the oil heats up, add the mustard seeds. After about thirty seconds, add the cinnamon sticks.
Add chopped onions, green chillies and curry leaves.
Keep it like this for two minutes on low flame and add the remaining turmeric powder and salt powder.
Now add chopped garlic and big onion cut in round shape.
Stir in crushed cardamom.
Now turn off the flame and add the boiled potato round slices. Stir well and keep it on the stove for about 5 minutes and remove it from the stove.
This potato bistek has a distinct taste similar to a very fragrant tempura. It really makes your food taste better. It is especially valuable for someone who likes to eat less and without spicy.
