Cristiano Ronaldo has come out to clerify those who thought he will retire from international football after the 2023 FIFA world cup in Qatar. He has decided to extend his play to the 2024 Euros.

He said and I quote.

"My chapter with the National team is not over yet, I will be in the world cup and I want to be in the Euros too"

He said this after he received the award from Portugal as their all-time top goal scorer. The Portuguese was expected to retire from his international football career because age is no longer on his side again, but the legend does not want to stop, he is ever ready and still wants to play for the team. Ronaldo urges his fans that they will see him play in the national team even after the world cup.

Ronaldo is one of the most ambitious footballer, he is hardworking and always want to be the best. I believe him when he says he will be playing till 2024, Ronaldo might have aged but his body still works like that of a youth because of the training he had undergone. Although he has not be performing as expected this season, it is just a matter of time, CR7 will bounce back.

Cristiano is like a treasure to the Portugal team, with the decision he has made to still play for the team they will allow him to play no doubt.
