"And he said unto them, cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes" (John 21:6).

Every issue in life has right side and wrong side. When we stand on the wrongside, wrong things begin to happen and vice versa. When right things happen around us, it can be exciting and encouraging but wrong things bring with them ugly pressures and frustrations that tend to trigger throwing in the towel.
On the text above, some of the disciples went fishing and all through the right they were disappointingly unsuccessful. At the break of the day, it was clear, that itwas an ill-fated venture. The fourth verse unmistakably states, "When the morning was come, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus." He asked what they had, they gave a negative response because they caught nothing all night long.
Whatever situation one finds oneself, it is not yet over until Jesus says so. In the same vein, no matter how dark the circumstance, as far as Jesus is standing by, everything is alright. Many elects over the years have found themselves in a miserable choking situation where they concluded themselves hopelessly irredeemable. But it is always too early to jump into rash conclusions.
In 1996, there was an Olympic Game, where the Nigerian National Team, Super Eagles met the Brazilian counterpart at Atlanta, U. S. A. By the end of the first half, the scores were Brazil 3 and Nigeria 1. It was a hopeless scenario. Some Nigerians in a show of disappointment started to leave the stadium. However, by the end of the second half, the Nigerian team had turned the goal tally to their advantage. At full time, the score board posted Nigeria 4 and Brazil 3. Anything can happen at any time especially, if the children of God should never give up on anything as long as Jesus is seated on the throne.
Jesus told His disciples that they were casting their nets on the wrong side. He directed aright and they obeyed. The result was beyond their wildest imagination. The secret behind this miracle is never give up, obeying and accepting the words of the Master (Proverbs 13:13). They acted on the words and the blessings of God that maketh rich and adds no sorrow, and it fulfilled in their case. Even the nets should have cut because of the fish heaviness but it did not. When Jesus is in-charge of your life, "nothing" is ever over until He forecloses it. Is there anything you are expecting? It is not over yet. Keep holding on!
Nothing is ever over until Jesus says so.
